TLC Expands Streetcare Fleet with our New Mechanical Sweepers

Totally Local Company is delighted to announce the latest additions to our fleet, including four brand new City Cat V20 Mechanical Sweepers, further strengthening our Streetcare and Street Cleansing service provision.

The new sweepers represent the latest generation of street cleaning technology, providing improved efficiency, lower emissions and enhanced safety for our operators, while delivering environmental, operational and customer benefits.

The City Cat V20 is a smooth-running vehicle, powered by modern Euro 6 low-emission diesel engines, which offer significantly reduced fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions, helping to minimise environmental impact without compromising performance.

Their class-leading articulated steering and compact design provide exceptional manoeuvrability, allowing operators to access everything from narrow streets and pedestrian areas to larger public spaces with ease. Improved Comfort and Safety for our Operatives:

Operator comfort and safety have also been enhanced through a newly designed ergonomic cab, intuitive touch-screen controls and simplified one-handed operation. These features help reduce driver fatigue, improve visibility and allow operators to focus on delivering a safe, effective cleaning service.

More Efficient Hoppper Design:

The sweepers also feature durable stainless-steel hoppers with increased capacity, making them more efficient during busy periods such as leaf-fall season. Improved waste handling and simplified cleaning systems reduce downtime, enabling more time to be spent keeping our streets clean.
