Totally Local Company – Lighting Up Stockport this Christmas

Totally Local Company is incredibly proud of our Street Lighting, Greenspace, Grounds Maintenance and back-office teams, who once again have worked tirelessly to bring festive cheer to Stockport.

From early planning through to the final switch-Ons, our teams have collaborated to deliver stunning Christmas trees and festive lighting displays across Stockport and the borough.

It takes a lot of team collaboration to bring everything together, including the transportation of the trees (which are heavy) and the tree and lighting installations of which all require Health & Safety of our teams and the community to be our top priority.

In total, our teams installed 45 Christmas trees, each requiring careful coordination, technical expertise and teamwork. Working closely together, Street Lighting, Greenspace and Grounds Maintenance and support teams ensure that every tree is strategically placed and safely illuminated, creating focal points for local celebrations across the borough

Lighting Up Stockport

Alongside the Christmas trees, our Street Lighting team has installed an impressive festive lighting programme, including:

• 463 LED Christmas motifs on lighting columns
• Illuminating all 45 Christmas trees, including the magnificent Town Centre tree
• Lighting two traditional Christmas cribs, adding a timeless festive touch
