James Wexler
James Wexler joined Totally Local Company in 2008, bringing with him a strong background in Operational and Facilities Management.
Over the past 17 years, James has progressed through a variety of roles within the business, developing extensive expertise in both Greenspace and Facilities Management Services.
In 2025, he was appointed Divisional Head of Facilities, where he now leads operations across our Schools Catering Services and Commercial Cleaning Services.
In this role, James oversees all aspects of service delivery — managing teams, resources, projects, and budgets — to ensure our operations run safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible standards.
James holds an HND in Management and Leadership (ILM), along with IOSH and First Aid certifications. He is passionate about operational excellence and dedicated to creating sustainable, well-managed environments that support both our colleagues and the wider community.
Outside of work, James enjoys watching his son play football and spending quality time with family and friends, often exploring new places and experiences together.

Andrew Davies
Andrew Davies is our Cleaning Contract Manager, he joined Totally Local Company (TLC) on April 4th, 2016.
With over 25 years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.
Throughout his career, he has earned industry-recognised qualifications, including IOSH certification and BICS training, and is well-versed in all relevant Health and Safety regulations. At TLC, Andrew is responsible for overseeing the entire Commercial Cleaning workforce, which includes four Mobile Area Manager/Supervisors and a dedicated team of 190 Cleaning Operatives.
TLC is a trusted provider of cleaning services for schools, educational facilities, and commercial properties, and is the preferred cleaning supplier for Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC). Andrew plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality service across all of these sectors.
Andrew says, “My role is very hands-on. I oversee a large team who work early and late shifts, and I’m not afraid to dig in with the front-line troops when needed. My team is the backbone of the business, and their hard work and commitment ensure our clients receive a first-class service.”

Andrew Street
Andrew Street joined TLC’s Cleaning Contracts team in January 2005, bringing with him over 19 years of valuable experience in the commercial cleaning industry.
Throughout his career, he has developed a comprehensive skill set, having achieved NVQ Levels 1 and 2 in Cleaning and Sanitation, and Team leadership. For the past 12 years, Andy has been working at a supervisory level, demonstrating strong leadership and management capabilities.
With a hands-on approach and a strong work ethic, Andy excels at motivating and managing his team members. His ability to communicate effectively and work well with others has been key to fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Andy is also well-versed in workplace Health & Safety standards, having received training in IOSH and the use of various cleaning equipment and materials. His commitment to maintaining safety and quality makes him an essential part of our team.

Eileen Platt
Eileen Platt has been an integral part of our team since 2004, bringing over 20 years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry.
As a Mobile Supervisor for more than a decade, she manages and supports our dedicated Cleaning Operatives across Stockport Borough, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service.
In her hands-on role, Eileen holds key qualifications including IOSH certification and NVQ Levels 1 and 2 in Supervisory Management and she has all the required knowledge of the Health & Safety standards at work. Her responsibilities go beyond overseeing daily operations, as she also manages resource planning and the recruitment of operatives for her team.
Eileen’s leadership ensures we have the right people and resources in place to consistently deliver the high standards of cleanliness and service that our clients expect.

Jake Hope
Jake Hope joined the company in 2013, and has over 11 years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry. A graduate of Sheffield Hallam University, he holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Business and Enterprise Management, providing him with a strong foundation in operational management and strategic thinking.
Jake began his career with TLC as a Cleaning Operative, gaining hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the critical aspects of the role, including the effective use of cleaning equipment, materials, and stock management. His practical knowledge has been invaluable in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery.
Since becoming a Mobile Supervisor in 2020, Jake has taken on the responsibility of overseeing his team across more than 25 sites within Stockport Borough. He holds IOSH certification, ensuring that health and safety standards are meticulously maintained while delivering exceptional service to our clients. His role is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring him to manage resources, training, quality control, hygiene, and safety across all sites under his supervision.

Shelly Walker
With over 35 years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry, Shelly Walker serves as a Mobile Supervisor in our Cleaning Contracts team.
Shelly began her career working part-time in various schools, educational facilities, and business premises throughout the Stockport Borough while raising her family.
Her dedication and expertise have since propelled her into a supervisory role, where she has proven herself to be a reliable leader.
Throughout her career, Shelly has continually expanded her skill set, earning NVQ Levels 1 and 2 in Cleaning and Sanitation, as well as undertaking the necessary IOSH training to uphold the highest Health & Safety standards. Her experience as an Assistant Supervisor has equipped her with strong team leadership abilities, making her highly effective at managing cleaning teams and ensuring top-quality service.
Shelly brings her vast industry knowledge and a hands-on approach to her current role, where she primarily oversees our cleaning teams in Stockport Town Centre. Her commitment to excellence, coupled with a strong work ethic, ensures that Totally Local Company consistently delivers outstanding service to our clients. Shelly’s dedication and ability to motivate her team make her an invaluable asset to our organisation.

Lauren Moores
Lauren initially joined Totally Local Company in 2020 as a Cleaning Operative, where she quickly established herself as a dedicated and dependable member of the Commercial Cleaning team.
Lauren’s work experience includes working as a Publishing Intern for First Story, London and alongside her role with TLC, Lauren continued her studies and successfully completed a First-Class Honours degree in English Literature from the University of Salford, showcasing her ability to balance professional work responsibilities with academic achievement.
During her role with TLC, Lauren’s commitment to maintaining exceptional standards, combined with her strong work ethic and attention to detail, has made her a valued part of the team.
Her background in research, organisation, and communication has further strengthened her leadership and problem-solving skills in the workplace.
Now stepping into her new position as Mobile Supervisor within the Commercial Cleaning team, Lauren is responsible for supporting cleaning teams across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, quality, and client satisfaction. She takes pride in mentoring colleagues, fostering teamwork, and upholding the company’s reputation for reliability and high standards.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys literature and creative projects, reflecting her passion for learning and continuous development.

Matthew Proctor
Matthew Proctor joined the business on the 10th of November 2025, bringing with him over 25 years of industry experience to the TLC team.
A qualified Accountant by background, Matt has built a diverse career spanning Finance, Administration, Community Development, Project Management, and Customer Service across various sectors in both the UK and Australia.
Before moving into the corporate world, Matt also enjoyed careers as a Professional Footballer and a Police Officer, experiences that have shaped his strong appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and effective communication.
In his new role, Matt will work collaboratively across the business with internal teams to ensure the continued delivery of excellent customer service and support. He will also play a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and organic growth, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities throughout Stockport and Greater Manchester.
