Celebrating Our Successes – TLCs Fleet Services Technicians Achieve IRTEC Accreditation.

We are delighted to share great news about our talented Motor Vehicle Technicians (MVTs) as they have successfully completed their IRTEC Accreditations. This is a major achievement that reflects their expertise and dedication,reinforcing our commitment to technical excellence and industry best practice.

IRTEC the Institute of Road Transport Engineers Certificate is the industry standard for HGV and PSV technicians. The scheme, regarded as the industry benchmark of skills and knowledge for commercial vehicle technicians assesses the safety and competence of technicians who maintain and repair vehicles in the commercial vehicle, trailer, and passenger-carrying industries.

Technicians and mechanics who take the IRTEC test are assessed on their theoretical and practical skills and, if successful, are awarded an IRTEC licence that is valid for 5 years.

The assessor worked with our MVTs on site at Endeavour House where they underwent assessments in the classroom and in the Fleet Workshop.
