Ethan’s hard work and determination have paid off as he is now a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician, which includes his HGV qualifications.
Throughout his apprenticeship, Ethan balanced day-release studies at college, alongside practical training in the Fleet workshop. His hard work and determination have paid off as he is a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician, which includes his HGV qualifications.
Reflecting on his journey, Ethan shared: “It’s been hard work and challenging balancing the theory and practical work, but I’ve received great support from TLC and my colleagues throughout the programme, and I fit in well with my team”.
Ethan’s training has equipped him with the skills to diagnose, repair and maintain heavy vehicles — from simple component replacements to complex fault-finding using advanced diagnostic tools and technology. The programme has also helped build his confidence and prepare him for his End Point Assessment (EPA), which was carried out by an independent assessor.
Well done to Ethan as he passed with flying colours!
