Festive design competition for local primary school children

Posted On: 10 Oct 2017

Further to the success of the Festive E-card competition in 2016, Solutions SK launch the competition again with local school children.
Stockport based Facility Management company, Solutions SK carries out several initiatives throughout the year to support the local community. Last year saw the business launch a competition asking primary school children to design a festive e-card that showed what this season means to them. With close to 500 entries, the business has launched the competition again this year and hopes for the same success.

Stephen Morris, Managing Director for Solutions SK, explains

“This year our people have worked closely with schools and charities in Stockport. We want to continue with this good work. As Christmas draws closer, we’re aware there are many different religions and different types of families. We want to talk with the children about the importance of community and charity. We want to get them thinking beyond presents. The competition was a huge success last year. We were so inspired by the designs and words the children submitted.”

The competition launches on Wednesday 11th October with all entries need to be in by Friday 24 November.
This year’s winner will receive:
• Afternoon tea with the Mayoress of Stockport
• Their design printed in the Stockport Express
• A £50 voucher for their school to purchase new reading books
• Their design will be made into an e-card that Solutions SK will distribute online and by email, as well as in print

Competition forms are now going out to all schools who work with Solutions SK. If you, or your school would like to enter, please email jacqueline.cohen@solutionssk.co.uk or call 0161 474 5563. Alternatively, you can download an entry form here.
