Fleet Services Vehicle Wash Refurbishment and Safety Upgrade
Our Fleet Services team is pleased to announce the successful completion of a major refurbishment of the Vehicle Wash Facility at Endeavour House.
The upgrade, was delivered in partnership with WNV Systems Limited – a trusted provider of high-performance commercial wash solutions – Fueltek specialists in fuel management and software systems, led the implementation of the new wash management system, this marks a significant improvement in both functionality and safety.
Key enhancements include:
- New high-efficiency wash brushes.
- Upgraded chassis wash system, now programmable to accommodate a variety of vehicle types.
- Advanced management system for improved control and monitoring.
- New safety rails and a protective safety floor, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
Bob Capper, Fleet Technical Officer, for Transport Services, emphasised the safety benefits of the upgrade:
“From a safety perspective, this is a vital improvement. Previously, if someone were to fall into the wash pit, they could fall a considerable distance and potentially hit the guide rail. The new safety floor now covers that rail and greatly reduces the risk and severity of such a fall.”
