Stockport Schools encouraged to take part in e-card competition

Posted On: 03 Nov 2017

Further to the success of last year’s competition, Solutions SK are encouraging Stockport schools to once again take part. The competition encourages school children in Stockport and the surrounding areas to create a design that shows what the festive season means to them.

As well as having their design being transformed into a festive e-card, this year’s winner will receive;

  • Afternoon team with the Mayor of Stockport
  • Their design printed in the Stockport Express
  • A £50 voucher for their school to purchase new reading books.

Stephen Morris, Managing Director for Solutions SK explains;

“This year our people have worked closely with schools and charities in Stockport. We want to continue with this good work. As Christmas draws closer, we’re aware there are many different religions and different types of families. We want to talk with the children about the importance of community and charity. We want to get them thinking beyond presents. The competition was a huge success last year. We were so inspired by the designs and words the children submitted.”

Entries for the competition must be in by Friday 24th November. Competition forms are now going out to all schools who work with Solutions SK. If you, or your school would like to enter, please email jacqueline.shalks@solutionssk.co.uk or call 0161 474 5563. Alternatively, you can download an entry form here.
