Stockport’s very own Where’s Wally

Forget ‘Where’s Wally’, we have Annie …and we want you to find her

April 2016 saw local businesses Arnold Plant Hire and Solutions SK, brand up a JCB to raise awareness and funds of local charity St Ann’s Hospice.

They’ve teamed up again to launch a ‘Where’s Annie’ campaign. During September, ‘Annie’ will be out and about on the streets of Stockport for everyone to see….and for those who do spot her, Arnold Plant Hire and Solutions SK are giving away 20, £5 gift vouchers.

Here’s how it works

For every correct sighting reported, they will award ‘the first spotter’ with a £5 gift voucher, and at the same time, they will make a £5 donation to St Ann’s Hospice. You have 20 chances to win.

When can I start spotting?

You can report sightings by posting on our Facebook page here: or by texting 07800 618 021 with your name and the phrase ‘I’ve found Annie’

Keep an eye on the Stockport Express Facebook Page for updates of when and where Annie will be throughout September.

Chris Gordon, Mayor of Stockport comments,

As St Ann’s Hospice is one of the Mayor’s charities this year , I wholeheartedly support the “Where’s Annie” campaign over the September period. It will give Stockport residents a chance to win a prize, have a bit of fun and at the same time improve awareness and boost the income of St Ann’s Hospice, an amazing organisation which is totally funded by charitable donations.

Jo Burton, St Ann’s Hospice comments,

We were excited to hear about the ‘Where’s Annie’ campaign. It’s such a unique way to support the hospice and we’re really looking forward to spotting Annie around Stockport. Both Arnold Plant Hire and Solutions SK are fantastic supporters of St Ann’s Hospice and they’re always coming up with creative ways to support our patients at the hospice.

Stephen Morris, Managing Director at Solutions SK comments,

We are very pleased to have joined forces with Arnold Plant Hire on this initiative. We’re always keen to work with St Ann’s Hospice, and within the local Stockport community. The ‘Where’s Annie’ campaign will be great fun and we can’t wait to get started and see where she goes.

Lee Barlow of Arnold Plant Hire comments,

We have supported National Charities for a number of years, namely Cancer Research and NSPCC. With our latest partnership we wanted to support a Charity closer to home. We have really enjoyed supporting St Ann’s Hospice and the wonderful work they do. We see the ‘Where’s Annie’ campaign as a great chance for the public to get involved and raise money for such a great cause.
