Totally Local Company – Fleet Investment New Streetcare Crew Cabin Tippers Now in Operation

We’re excited to announce the arrival of two brand-new 6.5 Tonne Crew Cabin Tippers, the latest addition to our ongoing Fleet Investment Programme.

These upgraded vehicles are now fully operational and are already helping enhance the delivery of our Streetcare services across Stockport and Greater Manchester.

What’s New – and Why It Matters

The new Crew Cabin Tippers bring a range of practical benefits, including:

Increased payload – previous tippers were 5.5 tonne so the increased payload will mean we can better and more efficiently deliver Streetcare services across 3 shifts, especially on the night shift when disposal site is shut.

Tail lifts – These vehicles are fitted with tail lift which means the removal of heavy bulky fly tipped items such as mattresses can be removed more safely.
