Totally Local Company’s Greenspace Team Supports Bramall Hall Roof Restoration Project

Our Greenspace team colleagues were out in force at the historic Bramall Hall last week, lending their support to the ongoing Bramall Hall Roof Restoration Project. The team carried out extensive shrub clearance, cutting vegetation back to ground level to allow contractors to safely erect scaffolding for the restoration work.

About the Bramall Hall Roof Restoration Project

This vital project has received a significant £1.6 million funding boost from Arts Council England’s Museum Estate and Development Fund (MEND). These funds are enabling essential repairs to the roof, safeguarding the building for generations to come. Specialist heritage contractor Restoration Projects was appointed earlier this year to lead the restoration.

Bramall Hall, which dates back to the Middle Ages, welcomes over 36,000 visitors each year and remains open to the public throughout the restoration. Work is expected to continue into 2025 and 2026, with sections of the hall accessible whenever possible.
